Welcome to Chapter Three of Forefathers, a mini-series which follows the lives of the Le Grande family from late-medieval times to the present day. At the end of Chapter Two - a short "gap-filling" chapter which took the family into the first few decades of the 19th Century - the ancestral home was occupied by George and Augusta Le Grande, together with their baby son, William.

Chapter Three begins with an adult William as sole occupier. I hope you enjoy this latest instalment!

Welcome to Chapter Two of Forefathers, a mini-series which follows the lives of the Le Grande family from late medieval times to the present day. At the end of Chapter One the ancestral home, Normandy Manor, was in the hands of Henry Le Grande. Both his grandfather and father had died due to taking part in two of the battles of the Wars of the Roses - the Battle of Wakefield (1460) and the Battle of Bosworth Field (1485) respectively.

This chapter (which is shorter than Chapter One) begins in the year 1600 with Thomas Le Grande, a descendant of Henry, as the current owner of the Manor.

Welcome to Chapter One of Forefathers. This mini-series will follow several generations of the Le Grande family, from late medieval times to the present day. It was inspired partly by the various Legacy Challenges, and I hope you will enjoy it.

Note: This story was originally posted on my Sim Page at the Exchange, but I’ve posted it here as I will no longer be adding stories to the Exchange. Also this story is part of a trilogy which will continue as soon as Forefathers has been completed. In addition I am now using default replacements of Enayla’s skintones and eye colours, which is why the Broke family may look slightly different from how they normally appear

Hello! For a number of reasons I’ve decided that I will no longer be posting my Sims stories at the Exchange, but will instead post them here. To begin with I’ll be moving the Broke family story (Changing Fortunes), as well as the first three chapters of my Forefathers series to this blog. Once they have been moved all future chapters of Forefathers will be posted here (I’m currently re-writing Chapter 4), and once that series is complete I’ll start on new stories - for instance there are two parts of what I’ll call The Bella Trilogy to be written, the first part being the Broke family’s story.

All stories involving the pre-made families will be added to the Sim City Chronicles category; Forefathers will have a category of its own as will other stories involving non-Maxis familes.

One final note: I’m now using default skintone and eye replacements (Enayla at MTS2), so the Maxis families will look different from how they originally appeared
